Oman- Part 1

Assalamualaikum wbt

SubhanAllah, alhamdulillah, Allhuakhbar!

Oman…was once an alienated place to me. I heard more of Yemen than Oman (I bet u too!). Alhamdulillah, I got pretty accustomed to Oman after a stay of 1 month. MasyaAllah, so much different than Malaysia! Deserts everywhere, abundant dates that u can pluck them off from trees, people around you in custom robes (white) and abayas….the scenario here in Oman :p

MasyaAllah….one thing I love about Omanis is that, they really welcome guests in their homes. Special area is designed in their houses specially for guests; separating males from females (masyaAllah!) which is known as “majlis”. InsyaAllah i'll upload picures of "majlis" later :)
